This week saw us cover the wedding of sophie and Anthony at the Miskin Manor near Cardiff in south wales. It was one of the best days of the year so far, the weather was perfect and when we got to Miskin manor we couldn’t help but take a few photos of the manor with the dew still on the grass.
When we got to Sophie’s room in the Miskin manor, the bridal prep was already underway, just the way we like it so we can slip in and take the best photos towards the end of hair and makeup. We borrowed the wedding shoes and wedding bouquet and took them into the grounds of the miskin manor to take some detail shots outside, something we always try and do to give you something a little different to the general same old shots.
Before the service, we managed to get some fun shots with the groom Anthony and Ben his best man, aswel as the usher infront of the Miskin manor, and also some beautiful shots of the bridesmaids.
The service was just perfect, with Sophie making the grand entrance with her father, and then both of them lighting a candle for those who were no longer with us.
After the service we went outside to do a dove release, once again supplied by the fantastic loveydovey wales, then onto the group shots. the advantage of having a second photographer really did come into its own during this period, where my beautiful wife managed to get some fantastic shots of the children playing in the grounds.
We completed the day with the first dance in the amazing reception room at the miskin manor, but not before we had gone for a golden hour walk around the grounds with the bride and groom to do the formal portrait shots. We only had a short period of time to capture these, but with our professional lighting giving us the advantage over others, it wasn’t a problem.
Please enjoy these beautiful images of Sophie and Anthony, and we thank you for inviting us to be your wedding photographer miskin manor.
