Recently we attended the wedding of Rhi & Ryan at the Old Rectory in Llangattock. They had booked us as wedding photographers in south wales for their special day and it was one we had been looking forward to for quite awhile. We started the day with Rhi in the bridal suit for bridal prep, covering the hair and makeup and capturing little details we could see.
We love the rooms in the Old Rectory, especially the bridal suit as its such a fantastic room for dramatic lighting. As we were still with the bride our second photographer was with the groom getting those important shots before the service. Usually we have a few nervous images but these two are such happy people we only got smiles all day.
The service was carried out by Fiona from Powys registrars, who once again delivered a fantastic and memorable wedding service for the happy couple. The wedding ceremony room at the Old Rectory can produce strong harsh lighting, but if you know what your doing it gives an amazing rewarding light that bride and grooms love looking back on,
Once the service was complete we rounded up the guests for the group shots on the front lawn, before taking parents and the bridal party out onto the golf course for more intimate group shots. My favourite part of the day came next, when we go for a little walk with the bride and groom to capture the important portrait images. We produced some beautiful photos of them, simply due to the couple being so easy to work with.
