wedding photographer Crickhowell
We first had the pleasure of meeting Nat & Andrew about 18 months ago when they were looking for a wedding photographer crickhowell and we clicked instantly. Both are so much fun to talk to, and we could tell this was going to be a good wedding!
Bridal prep
the weather for the day was due to be thundery heavy showers all day…well someone was definitely looking down on them, as apart from a really heavy shower whilst the food was being served…it stayed dry for most of the day, and had lovely conditions to make use of the grounds of the the Manor in Crickhowell.
Matthew was doing bridal prep with Nat in the bridal suit at the manor, capturing the hair and makeup being finished with the bridesmaids and her mam looking on, also getting the moment her father saw her for the first time in her dress…a moment that will live long in the memory…and we got a lovely shot to remember it by. The manor has lovely big windows to use for natural light, so we also made sure we got some portrait shots of all the girls individually aswel as together showing off there new matching gowns.
Whilst Matthew was capturing the bridal prep, the second photographer was off taking photos of the groom and his groomsmen on the drive of the Manor. its always nice to see what the groom is upto in the moments leading upto the service!
The service
Natalie made such a beautiful entrance with her father, Andrew was almost in tears seeing her for the first time. The love they have for each other was clear to everyone part of that service, they couldnt hide the smiles. It was such a joy to capture this moment of history, as Natalie & Andrew became husband and wife.
The wedding reception
Once the service was completed, we took everyone outside to make the most of the cry conditions to create a memorable group shot. mixing the confetti and big group photo not only gave us a brilliant image, but also made for good video footage for the awesome videographers KM videography (see below for link!)
once the requested group shots were complete it was time for the fun bit. We whisked them both off to parts of the ground that some of the staff dont even know about, to get the images the bride and groom deserved. After a bit of a climb (and then finding out just how much the wedding shoes cost!) we got to the spot that would give us exactly what we wanted.
Natalie looked amazing in her dress, and paired up with the dashing andrew the photos were always going to be amazing no matter what we did with them, but the setting of the manor gave us even more than we could have hoped for and they even let us taken them back out after food for some more quick images on the drive. we always try to give the bride and groom time to themselves on their wedding day, because believe it or not…you dont see much of each other!
thank you for letting us be part of your special day, it really was amazing and we cant wait to show off the rest of the photos to you soon
