Description

Like many of the new models, we first saw them in the Astra Militarum army set, which includes two full ten-model squads. But they’re now out as standalone kits. Consolidate Squads – 1CP: Use at the end of your Movement phase. Choose an Infantry Squad within 2″ of another Infantry Squad from the same . They merge into a single unit and are treated as such for the rest of the battle. Handy for creating bigger blobs where needed, or denying victory points – for example, in an ITC game where your horde of Guardsmen might give up kill more easily. Also magnifies the effect of buffs. One of those things that aren’t always useful, but is super important to have lodged in your brain as a thing you can do in emergencies. B Set towards the end of the Sabbat World’s Crusade, this anthology follows the legendary Gaunt’s Ghosts and includes the novels The Warmaster and Anarch , and the short stories This is What Victory Feels Like (Forever the Same) and From There to Here . Can the Tanith First and Only continue their successes on Urdesh, or will the forces of Chaos emerge victorious?

The World Eaterstied off all the Warhammer 40k Chaos factions– and in fact, all the codexes for 9th edition. And as our writer Tim Linward says in his World Eaters Codex review, they might be the very best codex of the edition.

Contents

Weapon Expert is the clear winner here, but the defensive options will occasionally be what you want.

Warlord Trait – Iron Discipline: Whenever a model would flee from a unit within 6″ of the warlord, they don’t on a 4+. HQ: Leman Russ tank commander (battle cannon, lascannon, multi-melta sponsons, heavy stubber) 245pts Rol Pyromaniacs: Re-roll wounds of 1 with flamers, heavy flamers, or twin heavy flamers. Too narrow and honestly underwhelming even on the stuff it targets. DWhile none of the regiments are outright bad, this is one of the slightly weaker ones simply because it doesn’t lean in that well to what Scions are trying to do. The redeploy is cute, but given it doesn’t allow you to pull units into deep strike it would mostly be good on Tauroxes, which are overpriced at the moment. The strat is mostly aimed at them too. The doctrine is extremely swingy – sometimes it’s actually great, but will also sometimes do nothing, and you generally want an ability that’s going to be useful most of the time from a faction trait. The relic is hilarious but doesn’t ultimately pull these up for competitive play. 32nd Thetoid Eagles
