With a bit about how he met his wife Rachel and his daughter Holly being born but most of it is this - felt unsure about my batting then good about it when I was hitting it out of the park, then I hadn't bowled enough, then I bowled loads and was knackered, then I was injured (he did have a lot bless him, he must be dropping to bits) and had a jab to stop the pain. Then, explosively, he lit up the second half of the summer in 2004, lifting spirits at Lord’s with a bat-smashing 142. I do love Freddie, and even now, ten years on, he's still one of England's best players and the one fans will always love, but his life and career isn't particularly a good thing to be read about.

Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff takes on many different topics in this rambling response to the pandemic and it's limitation on what we can do, where we can go and who we can see.Didn`t really enjoy this book-i read just over half way then i started skipping bits, which i never do!

This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. our favourite sportsman-turned-comedian- slash-leftfield-thinker Freddie Flintoff expels an eclectic and entertaining smorgasbord of anecdotes, impressions, reflections, ruminations, musings, cogitations, observations, rants, confessions and pearls of wisdom on all aspects of life's rich tapestry. The inclusion of photographs is a positive aspect, providing readers with visual glimpses of Flintoff's career and personal life. Freddie takes you on a whirlwind tour of his brain as he ponders more of life’s most unfathomable question. This book by Andrew Flintoff is not the kind of thing I’d normally read but I received it as a Christmas present I thought I might as well give it a try.Everything from the current state of cricket to presenting on Top Gear to Christmas and Getting Old. But, this last year we’ve all had a moment to reflect, and I’ve had the chance to look back and notice that although there’s been little method in the madness of my life, there has been the occasional common thread. In Right, Said Fred, Freddie takes you on a whirlwind tour of his brain as he ponders more of life's most unfathomable questions. His book wasn't what I expected - it wasn't an autobiography and it wasn't the collection of sporting anecdotes that I would normally expect from a book by a former international cricketer. Published just months after that historic win, this book was written primarily to capitalise on the post-Ashes euphoria.

But, at 43 years of age, and with a bit more time on his hands than usual, Freddie Flintoff has had a moment to reflect and he’s noticed that, although there’s been little method in the madness, there has been the occasional common thread. The storytelling lacks the depth and introspection that could have provided readers with a more profound understanding of the man behind the cricketing legend. I wanted a nice simple book I could just pick up for 5 mins here and there and this turned out to be the perfect fit. It was actually a collections of opinions and it was an interesting glipse into the mind of Andrew Flintoff.

However, the overall design and layout of the book could be improved to enhance the reading experience. But Freddie Flintoff has had a moment to reflect and he's noticed that throughout his four decades, although there's been little method in the madness, there has been the occasional common thread. First of all, I'd like to point out that I love Freddie, but that doesn't mean the book gets an automatic 5 stars.Freddie Flintoff - My World' is a lavishly illustrated and beautifully produced book which includes a stunning series of photographs.
