About this deal

If you are new to espresso brewing, it may be tough for you to choose the right espresso distributor. Tamper that fits the portafilter really well (20-30) - Helps improve the quality and consistency of the extraction. As a result, what started out as a mountain of ground coffee in the centre of the filter becomes a flat, distributed, but not compressed cake. By leveling the coffee grounds before tamping, the tool ensures even distribution, resulting in consistent shots with each pull. When coffee is not leveled before tamping you run the risk of an uneven extraction as some parts of your portafilter will have more coffee than others.

The little gaggia will serve you well for a good while, especially once you get to know the heating profile.

A coffee distribution tool isn’t strictly necessary, but it’s a game changer for achieving consistent results. One advantage of this tamper is that, like a palm tamper, you can determine the desired depth and therefore pressure yourself. If the distributor's base is too small, it won't cover the entire coffee bed, leading to uneven spreading. I am sure it is mainly due to the tamping - occasionally I see channelling or a gap at the edge of the puck.At this step, a little pressure is applied to the distributor in the downward direction, and it is rotated in a circular motion.

you know, I started weighing the coffee and the espresso but I have stopped weighing the output now.Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places.

Always check our size chart to see if your specific espresso machine model is compatible, or contact us if you’re unsure. NEW Normocre’s Coffee Distributor Tool is an accessory designed to move the coffee grounds consistently and evenly with its two angled slopes, ensuring coffee density is not localized and reducing friction, so coffee grounds don’t stick to the surface. The primary objective of the WDT Tool is to ensure the even distribution of coffee grounds, maximizing extraction efficiency, and minimizing channeling during the brewing process. One firm tamp will produce better results than the two or sometimes three I do now because the tamper isn't big enough!
