It seemed to me an apropriate fragrance for a young man in his mid-twenties who was about to graduate from Law school. I also agree it is similar to Versace The Dreamer but without Dreamer's harsh opening and floral tobacco. But everyone experiences perfumes in their own unique way, and what smells to me may "stink" or repel you because of memories and other factors! The Dreamer is warmer, less aromatic, more resinous, and sweeter, making it more suitable for the colder months and evenings in my opinion.The strongest of these notes are the sage and lavender for a soft and clean aromatic feeling, followed by the cedar and tonka bean for a woody and sweet background. Not sure on the cedar, it in general does kind of have a woody earthy scent to me so maybe I’m fooling myself, and I’m still trying to discern what tonka smells like. oz because I thought it was exactly what I was looking for at a good deal and I couldn't find a sample).

This fragrance has slowly become my favourite to wear around the house on a day off or on a day working from home. It is not a long time performer and I don't even remember what the dry down smells like as once it fades it really disappears. I'm a big fan of the original, the made in France version is damn close, I wish it was strong, its a bit frustrating. Longevity is phenomenal like I smell from under my t shirt even after 10-12 hrs but I apply vaseline on my chest to make it long lasting though. This fragrance is powdery, fresh, woody, and masculine and I find that it has unlimited versatility.We are caught in a kind of cycle and not enough attention is paid to one another - to be kind to others is a basic virtue, which is already evident in some people in the world considering what is happening!
