About this deal

So you n3d to work it out ! Try riding friends bike's which have differing combination of bars , fairings , screen or gearing and see what's best for you !

Of all the screens we have tested, the Givi Airflow on the V-Strom had the broadest range of adjustment and was the most adaptable. Everyone could find a setting that worked for them, but the Airflow is “fugly”. It is an absolute joy to ride behind on long runs, but you have to be ready for the never-ending stream of jokes about just how ugly it is. So, I’m a happy camper. The MRA Touring Vario screen looks good, is well made and smoothes out the air. Perfect. Love the look's of the z900 rs café even the o.e.m screen as it suits the cafe's style.. but for touring and motorway speeds it's about as much use as having a ashtray fitted so "weighing up" a aftermarket screen but want the best of both worlds.. a screen that's give some more protection but dose not take away the café looking style of the bike. was thinking of the MRA Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe Racer 2018> Double-Bubble/Racing Screen light smoked Grey but have heard that a few have had locating holes slightly out of spec. as anyone fitted the MRA double bubble and had any problems? can anyone recommend the best screen for better wind protection yet still maintain the cafe's style.MRA has now produced a specific model for the Tracer 9 / 9GT. We have tested it and you can read that test here Web Links

Easily adjustable in height and angle by hand - with no tools required - the award-winning, ergonomic and complete MRA Vario-Touring Screen with Spoiler, has seven-positions enabling you to alter the airflow directed towards you to reduce turbulence and buffeting, improve your comfort and vastly reduce rider fatigue on - even the longest journeys. It's a true all-rounder also effective for removing scratches and scrapes from caravans, motorhome side windows, superficial damage on boat hulls and household objects such as furniture and acrylic baths or washbasins. It is slightly ironic that an MRA Vario Screen for the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT is waiting on my desk when I return from the 900-mile Coast To Coast ride across the UK. Nonetheless, sitting on my desk was an MRA Vario Touring screen and attached to the box is a note that reads, “ Please Test“. Any excuse to ride another 50 or 60 miles in the sunshine is always welcome. MRA Vario Screens Using a Vario screen from MRA, I finally get to ride my motorbike wearing a jet helmet and sunglasses without the annoying turbulence in my face."Good things come to those that wait, and in my case, it is an MRA Vario Touring Screen for the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT, that I’ve been waiting for.

Proving that I know nothing about aerodynamics, I thought the slimmer waist on the Tracer 9GT screen would mean more buffeting or wind noise. Thankfully, I’m wrong, and the aerodynamicists at MRA are right.

QUIXX, the Global No. 1 Acrylic Scratch Remover, offers an astonishingly simple solution to the problem of scratched or scuffed plastic windshields, headlights, speedometer covers and helmet visors, it restores surfaces with professional results and is even TÜV approved. In the UK, the distributor for MRA Screens is Harwood Performance Source, better known as HPS. They have always been a pleasure to deal with, and yes we paid for our screens. Just fitted an MRA screen and can recommend them as I was going to sell my bike because of the wind noise, but not now." The many adjustment options for angle, length and gap keep the headwind deflected upwards from between the base and upper screen, keeping turbulence to an absolute minimum and the wind away from the helmet and upper body reducing noise and buffeting, improving your comfort and vastly reducing rider fatigue on long journeys.

MRA Vario screens deal with the basic requirements for wind protection and minimising turbulence in the base design. However, as everyone needs something a little different, so MRA then adds an easily adjustable spoiler near the screen’s upper edge. Changing the spoiler’s angle reduces any remaining turbulence or wind noise to match your riding position. Tighter Curves

MRA Vario Screens

Installed a MRA vario today. I had one of these on my Busa, and was always impressed. With the screen down, you get a smooth blast of air. Very little buffeting. I have the "wing" adjusted out. With the screen up, you can ride with your visor open up to three digit speeds... Then HPS sent the newly design MRA Touring Vario screen for the Tracer 9 to the office, and once again, I’m reading a note which says “Please Test”. Visually Different Given the improvement the older MRA Touring Screen delivers, I’m somewhat puzzled how MRA could have improved it again – other than fixing the handguard issue – when producing the Tracer 9 /9GT specific screen. Placing the new Vario screen over the 900GT variant shows that the 9GT screen is much narrower at the waist. A natural change considering the obstruction of the handguards. The amount MRA has removed though is surprising. The two screens are the same height, width at the top and follow the same curve. It is only the waistline that has been on a diet. Couldnt get used to the standard screen. Found too much buffeting for me. MRA screen suits me perfect. No longer notice any buffeting. I'm 5'11". Best upgrade on this bike so far."
