Thank you to Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.I found her to be overly snobby in a wanna-be type of way because she needed to have it all figured out and got so embarrassed at times which reminds the reader of the thoughts that go through your mind at that age which I did enjoy. Some other chapters after that like when she gets her first job and all she does is complain about it instead of doing something about it. And the drugs. Was there any need for the mention of them as if it’s like drinking water? a b c d e f g Field, Matthew (2015). Some kind of hero: 007: the remarkable story of the James Bond films. Ajay Chowdhury. Stroud, Gloucestershire: The History Press. ISBN 978-0-7509-6421-0. OCLC 930556527.

Let us got with our gang I’d lovable rogues and watch their adventures continue . Let us watch them go off to safeguard this treaty. Protect ppl they care about , while they reconnect estranged family members and Malloryn goes on this thing called a “vacation “ ( something we NEVER thought we’d see him voluntarily do. I mean seriously. Malloryn on vacation? Plus a happily married wife (his) AND with a baby on the way ?Outdoor art trail: More details on the curated selection of art and inspiration in central London can be found here - https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/arts-and-culture/make-date-london/love-london-summer-art-trail Coincidentally, this was also the date of first publication of the Bond novel On Her Majesty's Secret Service As an aside, so not a fan of using distress from 9/11 as a reason for Jenny to initiate sex) to just stay in NYC. I felt this was out of character for Jenny. Crowther, Bosley (9 April 1964). "James Bond Travels the Orient Express". The New York Times . Retrieved 11 May 2009.

Queen Alexandra is done with marriage, but as always, the Duke of Malloryn has a plan. With Malloryn insisting upon an heir for the realm, Alexandra reluctantly agrees to accept a husband. But who? With Europe's most eligible bachelors in London to attend her exhibition, she finds herself pining for the only man who has never betrayed her. The only man she wants. And the one man she cannot have. COLIN M JARMAN (27 June 2010). "IN MEMORY: Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli – The Mastermind behind the James Bond movies". Licensetoquote.com. Archived from the original on 13 July 2011 . Retrieved 21 September 2010. This whole debacle could’ve easily have been avoided with a content warning. Ideally, this would never have made it into the story with a plot that’s based IN LONDON. At the very least, do not put the h inside the Tower, I think that this is what I’m most upset about, to be honest. The fact that she’s inside the Tower. Just so blasé and insincere. I am infuriated that the author placed her there. The street, and airport; fine. Inside a sacred, hallowed space? It’s frankly disgusting.I was also so thrilled we got to see the romance develop between Alexandra and Sir Gideon. I definitely feel like we had gotten hints of a spark between them in some of the later books in the London Steampunk: The Blue Blood Conspiracy series and I loved how this book filled in some of their history. It was so funny to me that everyone but them could see the match Malloryn was angling to make with his marriage scheme. While this was short, I feel like because we knew these characters and they had chemistry, the romance worked well and didn’t feel rushed. I love how Alexandra just wanted someone to see her for who she is as a person and Gideon was the perfect match for her.

Big London kiss to NetGalley, Sarra Manning and Hodder & Stoughton for an advanced copy of this book ! Antani, Jay. "From Russia with Love". Filmcritic.com. Archived from the original on 14 February 2012 . Retrieved 16 March 2008. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has today encouraged Londoners to discover their city anew as his tourism campaign sends a love letter to the capital. This book is beautifully written and dripping with all the feels. Believe the hype! It is so well deserved. Plus, who doesn't love a book set in a bookshop? The outside world’s view of Sheffield is evolving. It currently feels like not a week goes by without us being the focus of another gushing feature in the national press or entry on a “top ten coolest places to live” list. But while flattery is one thing, voting with your feet is quite another. However, here things seem to be changing too, and it’s led to a shift that people are beginning to notice: that Londoners are moving to Sheffield in their droves. The novella focuses on the human Queen, Alexandra, as she copes with the aftermath of her despicable Blueblood husband's ruthless rule and abhorrent treatment of her. Convinced by the council that she must marry and produce an heir, Alexandra plays host to visiting diplomats and local aristocrats all vying for her hand. Unfortunately, someone has decided to take the opportunity to remove Alexandra from the throne permanently. The writing is warm and sweet. The characters are multilayered, authentic, and flawed. And the plot is a charming rollercoaster ride of hope, heart, heartache, and humour. Kaja is originally from Poland, and her husband is from Kent. But he went to university in Sheffield and had long harboured dreams of returning. When they began thinking of moving out of London she originally preferred Halifax after spending an enjoyable day at the West Yorkshire town’s beautiful Piece Hall. However, they had been here just six months when she realised she never wanted to live anywhere else.
