About this deal

Chaos cultists can actually become fairly solid fighting units when you give them Chaos Blessings, Marks, and they pile up the boons of Chaos (such as Diamond Skin, etc.) You should be building a lot of these anyway as they are fuel for the fires of industry in the cities, very inexpensive, and they are also your settler units. Send out groups alongside stronger units (such as the Chaos Lord), and let the cultists get the final blow to actually kill the enemy unit. The killing blow is the only way to transform the unit. You could instead take them with the Mark of Nurgle. When combined with some Nurgle Daemons, they can add to Epidemius’ Tally of Pestilence, which is always handy. They can also bombard their foes from beneath the shadow of a Feculent Gnarlmaw, where its Shroud of Flies ability will mean that incoming fire will need to be AP -3 or better to even start reducing their armour save.

Though relatively rare, it is found in concentrations on certain worlds across the galaxy, particularly those planets that are Tomb Worlds of the ancient Necron Empire.

Thousand Sons are one of the armies I can see using this. When we build gunlines, we include numerous psykers for buffs and wound regen via Temporal Manipulation. We also have a situation where everything in our army has invuln saves......except the Tanks and Helbrutes often used in our firebases. Though the soul-dampening effects of the Pariah Nexus are limiting the Imperium's responses, Humanity is learning to harness faith and belief as a weapon to overcome the Nexus' effects. They also see something of the pylons' role in creating the anti- Immaterium field effect that stills the soul and destroys the will to live in its victims, and will stop at nothing to bring them down.

I've attached the minimap of the world I settled on after about five restarts (this is the final turn). I'm the teal units in the lower right. I knew the map was good when I started, but it turned out to be absolutely ideal! Because I started with a lot of land, I knew all that water would be crowding the AI. So why is this so ideal? If you don't plan on rushing though, the Daemon Prince will not hold. His support abilities are rather weak, his tankiness fades away when strong units (T5-T6 let's say) come into play. That is, of course, depending on the points costs for this beast. But at first glance, the expanding bubble of abilities may be great for later rounds in game, and its ability to defend itself against boarders may be good as well.A dark, glassy substance was found by the Drukhari of Commorragh during raids on worlds held by both Necrons and the Adeptus Mechanicus. Within the Haemonculus covens of the undercity of Commorragh, it was not long before those ancient Drukhari discovered that this material could be used to repel daemonic entities. Reference: Both are constellations; additionally, Orion is the eternally reborn god of the Elves of Athel Loren in the Warhammer Old World. That said they're also range 3 and also your only ranged unit (tactical squad range 2 damage are pitiful, like the loyalist one) until very late, which makes them a bit awkward. This is one the fastest achievements if you get your settings right. Use a very small, very low landmass map, with neutrals and Webway gates set to minimum. Choose Very Fast game pace. This will yield a map with only two gates (not including yours). Now it’s just a matter of accumulating enough influence and ore to open the gates and build the Redoubts (30 each for the first Redoubt, and 60 each for the second). The Noctilith Crown. I've loved this model since it was first revealed. A Chaos portal that buffs units around it but debuffs anything that isn't Chaos? Hell yeah, dude.

The Lord Discordant is the new biomechanical beast, with a whopping 12 Wounds and a top speed to rival a Raptor. Much like the Obliterators, he benefits from his Daemon keyword to have amazing synergy with anything that will give a bonus to Daemons! For example, giving him the Mark of Khorne and then positioning him to be within 6” of both a Greater Possessed and a Bloodmaster will mean he’ll strike at Strength 12 on the charge with his impaler chainglaive. If your army is broken, you can use Heldrakes to kill models to restore morale to allies, for example. Even if THEY are broken. Further effects of Noctilith have been observed. Any living creature within the area of influence of Noctilith will find themselves afflicted with a numbing despair that only worsens with time until they become little more than a mindless husk - a perfect vessel for Necron experimentation on the reversal of biotransference. [5] The Noctilith Crown is an exciting new addition to the Chaos Space Marines range. It does two main things – it lets you re-roll Psychic tests for Chaos Psykers and gives an invulnerable save to units in an aura that expands as the game continues. And the last bit for the Noctilith Crown, as we're still in Warhammer and of course with chaos, some skulls. These go on both sides and are mirrored, so you don't see the duplettes. That's it, the terrain piece is assembled and ready to get painted. The forgefiend was added in the meantime. Very good, your go-to anti-air units unless you want Heldrakes. Forgefiends can't be spammed because they are extremely expensive, so you should have a few in the middle of Maulerfiends/Venomcrawlers to finish enemy at range 2 or pin down heroes that try to run/enemy you can't quite deal with currently.
