Parkour Master: Due to his mutation and his natural athletic abilities, Mercer is a master of Parkour, the art of freerunning. Using his enhanced abilities, Mercer is capable of moving around highly condensed areas with the greatest of ease, being able to vault over moving objects, squeeze his way through some of the smallest spaces and transverse up and down various elevations without slowing down. He has been able to use these abilities to escape military pursuit on a number of occasions. His skills in freerunning also increases with the more people he consumes that are skilled with parkour as well. Alex Mercer is the main protagonist of the 2009 video game Prototype and the main antagonist of its 2012 sequel Prototype 2. Alex's shapeshifting powers grant him superhuman physical abilities well beyond that of a normal Human. The original Alex was a cold monster with no empathy who ultimately unleashed the virus out of pure spite. His actions and demeanor are likely due to his troubled past, which made him a cold individual, both paranoid and sociopathic. On top of that, he seemingly doesn't care about his younger sister, Dana, and is seemingly only using her as a pawn in his plans as well. He rarely takes human cost into account during his actions, being able to murder scores of humans without remorse or hesitation. Heller has a tall, muscular build from his time in the Military and a shaved head. He has a small scar over his left eyebrow of unknown origin. Alex walked off thinking to himself "What have I become? Something less than human, but also something more..." Later, Manhattan is seen in a recovering state, with the virus almost completely destroyed. Prototype 2: The Anchor Part 1During one of Alex and Dana's meetings, Dana was kidnapped by a Leader Hunter, a larger and stronger version of the normal hunters. Alex pursued this Leader Hunter across the city, but was ultimately unable to rescue Dana. With the help of Dr. Ragland, Alex located and consumed the same Leader Hunter that kidnapped Dana, learning of her location in the core hive in the center of the city. Alex was eventually able to penetrate the hive, where he confronted Elizabeth Greene. Given the numerous individuals that he had consumed over the course of the Prototype series, Mercer’s intelligence is at superhuman levels, making him one of the smartest if not the smartest person within the Prototype universe, at least until James Heller had consumed him. During one of Mercer and Dana's meetings, Dana was kidnapped by a Leader Hunter, a larger and stronger version of the normal hunters. Alex pursued this Leader Hunter across the city, but was ultimately unable to rescue Dana. Zurich demand the land surrounding Flint's lumbar mill, but Flint wouldn't relent told Zurich he'd never sell them. Later, Zurich sent two men over to kill the father and daughter, but Alex intercepted them and killed them himself. He then went after Zurich. Part 2
