About this deal

maybe more than 10% of the Earth would still be.. would still be inhabitable. And all the moving would not have been necessary would not have been necessary. But what the hell. A perfect balance between a green and vegetal bitterness with the softness and purity of narcissus flower, with all the natural notes of geranium, iris, violet, vetiver, and oakmoss. A fine abstract. It smells like the morning light in September, when the trees are blue and golden, and the grass is covered in dew. There's something powdery in this scent that makes it milder, although it doesn't lose its greenness.

Violet fragrances can also be quite versatile as well. Many of the fragrances above, for example, work well in pretty much every season of the year. This instantly boosts the versatility of the fragrance, meaning you can have more use out of it. On top of that, violet fragrances aren’t worn by men too often, which will make you smell unique. Geoffrey Beene is not a young designer, although one could argue his style is timeless. He was born in Haynesville, Louisiana, USA, in 1924. Scent: Hugo Boss Bottled Night is a flanker of the original Hugo Boss Bottled, this time, with a more woody, floral scent. This fragrance opens with a scent of lavender, paired with birch, which creates a pleasant, but somewhat simple scent. After a little while, the note of violet is added, as well as some more woody notes. There’s also a little musk in the base, however, you mainly get this pleasant, although a bit linear scent of woods and florals. When it comes to cologne, I was introduced to different fragrances as a kid. I’ve had at least one serious boyfriend in my life and I’ve always been surrounded by men who were fans of smelling nice (i.e. brother, stepdad, uncles, etc.).Beene was not only a fashion designer but a mentor to young designers, i.e. Alber Elbaz, Doo Ri Chung, and Kay Unger, who all went on to become successful fashion designers. It is well known that today there is a popular fragrance category within the genus "Freshies" (as the English-speaking Youtuber probably call it), whose representatives are supposed to convey the impression of refreshed ability to go out or visit: Freshly showered, fresh laundry from the line: Everything concentrated in the bottle. "Grey Flannel" basically doesn't do anything else, only in the old and - in my opinion - more interesting way. In concrete terms, this means not taking a shower, but taking a bath. Not with liquid soap and shower gel lubricated, but with curd soap rubbed off (whose parents and/or grandparents did not have this almost endlessly productive piece of curd soap, possibly with pine smell, in the bath lie?). The laundry is not treated with Lenor's "Sommerwaldstrandbergquellzauber" fabric softener (which also damages the fibres), but refreshed with a shot of the herbaceous-floral ironing water additive alone (the housekeeper says her great-grandma already swore on it). Notes: The top notes of Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel are lemon, bergamot, petitgrain, neroli, and galbanum. The middle notes are rose, sage, narcissus, violet, geranium, iris, and mimosa. The base notes are cedar, vetiver, oakmoss, almond, and tonka bean. His collections were inspired by timeless and futuristic designs that he reworked into fashionable creations. The first fragrance under the Geoffrey Beene umbrella, Grey Flannel for men, was presented in 1975. For those who could not afford the label's clothes, the fragrance was their chance "to own a Beene." Another fragrance, Bowling Green, was presented in 1986. The man who wears this in cooler weather is the quiet type, a smart businessman or someone who has been opting for it for half his life and wisely knows not to change. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it, as they say. The only misstep? Perhaps that flannel in question is really purplish-green instead of grey? But we can be very forgiving in his case…

Grey flannel overall has a nice smell. It’s not something that I would buy for a friend or any male figure in my life. Simply because it’s more of a cologne that you would combine with your shower routine. It smells really good when mixed with a fresh scented lotion.Owning a violet fragrance is not a necessity. However, it would also be a shame to not give them a try. Like the fragrances listed above, there are many masterpieces that utilize the note of violet perfectly.

Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel Eau De Toilette Spray for Him, 30 ml

The scent is light, allowing you to wear it with lotion, and will smell well after using your body wash or soap As a young man in the early 80s, I found this scent to be sophisticated and beyond my years, associating it the presence of mature men. Over time, however, I learned that such strength was emblematic of men with confidence and quiet power. The type of man who is noticed when he enters a room, not on his exit. The note of violet is a floral fragrance note, often used as a supporting note. When we’re talking about the note of violet, it is important to know that there are two different violet notes. First, you have the note of the violet flower, which has a somewhat earthy, powdery, and fresh scent. Second, there is the note of violet leaves, which has a green and even somewhat metallic scent. Best for: Christian Dior Fahrenheit is a great fragrance to wear during the fall and winter. The scent of this fragrance is quite strong and would be way too overpowering when worn during the warmer months. Due to the boldness of this fragrance, it might not work during ta formal occasion, however, this makes for a great casual fragrance, perfect for both the day and the night. Just make sure you don’t overspray this one. 3. Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel I’m always curious about the reactions to Grey Flannel, and of late it seems to illicit a bit of confusion, and for some, disdain. The first cologne I smelled and fell in love with was Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue. I love how the fragrance is light but still very commanding of your senses. It almost reminds me of the ocean, which is why I think the commercial does a wonderful job of visually describing how the scent smells.

GEOFFREY BEENE GREY FLANNEL FOR MEN 240ML EAU DE TOILETTE

In the perfume chapter of his book "Der Gentleman" Bernhard Roetzel writes about "Grey Flannel" and others: Notes: The top notes of Burberry Touch For Men are mandarin, violet leaves, and artemisia. The middle notes are cedar, white pepper, and nutmeg. The base notes are white musk, vetiver, and tonka bean. This international favorite starts with fragrance notes including aromatic woody galbanum, then moves to a complex heart featuring sweet mimosa and fragrant sage. So, putting that out there very simply, but it wouldn't be a review if I didn't actually rate it. Unlike the majority of the previous discussion posts, I'm female (identify as such) and wear the fragrance myself, which is by no means made easy here. Every other comment starts with "classic masculine" womanizer" "sexy, dapper man" and so on. Understandable, since this fragrance does have a DNA that we have long, long associated with classic men's colognes. But Grey Flannel is almost half a century old now, so maybe it's time to rethink it. for 14 months in a G-127 ship.. in a G-127 ship for 14 months And not by choice. Designed by Geoffrey Beene in 1996, Eau De Grey Flannel for men is a refreshing, woody, mossy, fragrance. It is the result of the following top fragrance notes: bergamot, freesia and citrus. so sorry that the fragrance has been reformulated somewhere in between and now has the green aquatic quality in it. Notes: The top notes of Byredo Mojave Ghost are sapodilla and ambrette. The middle notes are magnolia, violet, and sandalwood. The base notes are cedar and ambergris. Compared to these two colognes, Grey Flannel is somewhere in between. It has a powerful scent, but not as strong as Light Blue or the Polo scent. It does, however, give a fresh vibe, the same way the Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue scent does. How Grey Flannel is different
