The Astrophoria Foundation Year was launched last year for UK state school students who have experienced disadvantage or disruption during their education and is part of the University of Oxford’s efforts to increase participation from students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. Stay calm and honest to yourself, and try as much as possible to not disclose personal information to people you don’t really know. Each of these double-hours corresponds with one of the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac, with similar symbolic motif and astrological significance.

People who are born in the year 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, and 2021 will fall under the Year of the Ox. Countries such as Japan, Korea, and Vietnam have adapted the Chinese zodiac into their own culture and often incorporate it into their daily lives. And for 2021, Chinese zodiac experts believe that hard-working individuals will be rewarded this year. In particular, those born in January or February should make note of when the Chinese New Year begins, as your zodiac animal may be in the previous year (use the chart below). Originating from China, this form of the zodiac (with some variations) has been popular for a long time in many East Asian countries, such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. The Chinese zodiac is made up of 12 animals that first appeared in the Zhan Guo period or about 500 BC to 401 BC. Current students also actively support students in earlier years, sometimes as part of a college ‘family’ or as peer supporters trained by the University’s Counselling Service.

Ox 2022 zodiac horoscope: What your Chinese zodiac sign means for you this year THE OX year is ending soon and we're moving into the year of the Tiger. Ruled by the Sun, the Monkey has bountiful life force energy, and the resilient Ox lends you the stamina to build a powerful platform. The exhausted rat used its cunning to navigate the water by persuading the kindly ox to let it sit on its head as it crossed. If the Ox is already exercising a stable professional activity, he will have no trouble advancing at his own pace, but if not, he will have to use discreet stratagems to guarantee the sustainability of his job. In the same way, all the commitments made the previous year must first have been completed before he can seriously consider embarking on a new existential dynamic. For example, Water Oxen, such as Dave Chappelle and Kristen Wiig have been known to draw audiences with their clever whit and relatable comedy. These animal signs know their own and their partner’s worth and aren’t afraid to invest time in unraveling their partner’s mystery.

BBC Bitesize What is the Chinese Zodiac? - BBC Bitesize

A person born during the Year of the Ox, the second animal of the Chinese zodiac, is very self-confident and knows his life goals. Dry your tears and toughen up—or make sure your support squad stays ready for those moments when you need to express your feelings.Even out of the Chinese zodiac, many view the ox as a symbol of determination, fertility, confidence, power, and stability. The Pig may have a front-facing rep as hedonistic, even greedy, but newsflash: that mud has been slung unfairly! Since the Rat is your opposite sign on the Lunar calendar, you may have felt reined in and corralled, which frustrated your freedom-loving sign. Taciturn, upright, patient, unpretentious, and persevering, Ox is one of the least flashy yet one of the most likable of the zodiacs.
